Mobility of higher education teachers of the University of Maribor 2018−2021
With a successful application to the public call “Mobility of higher education teachers of the University of Maribor 2018−2021”, published by the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport, the University of Maribor has won the project “Mobility of higher education teachers of the University of Maribor 2018−2021”.
The project is co-funding activities pertaining to the mobility of higher education teachers of the University of Maribor at foreign higher education institutions.
The project provides support for the pedagogical and professional training of Slovene higher education teachers as well as their connection with the teaching and research staff at foreign higher education institutions and enables cooperation and connection of Slovene higher education institutions with partners internationally and thus provides for a more open Slovene higher education.
Within the project, 59 UM higher education teachers from 16 UM Members will take part in the mobility. The duration of mobilities is from 3 to 6 months.
Geographically, mobilities will be organised in a way that all groups of hosting countries in priority regions will be represented, namely focused on the highly industrialised countries, BRICS countries, countries of the Western Balkans as well as other mobility countries. Mobilities will be realized at distinguished, internationally recognisable higher education institutions ranked to the highest positions between 1 and 500 on the Academic Ranking of World Universities 2017.
The Project is co-funded with financial resources from the European Social Fund (ESF) in the amount of 80% of the contractual value and the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport in the amount of 20% of the contractual value.
The project is implemented within the framework of the Operational Programme for the implementation of the Cohesion Policy for the period 2014− 2020, Priority axis: 10. Knowledge, skills and lifelong learning to enhance employability; Investment priority: 10.1 Enhancing equal access to lifelong learning for all age groups in formal, non-formal and informal settings, upgrading the knowledge, skills and competences of the workforce, and promoting flexible learning pathways including through career guidance and validation of acquired competences; Specific objective: 10.1.3 Promoting flexible learning pathways and supporting high-quality career orientation for school-age youth at all levels of the education system.
