Opportunity for new employments of the researchers at the University of Maribor – 100% financing postdoc joint research collaborations with companies until 2020
Based on the Public Call for Proposals »Javni razpis za spodbujanje raziskovalcev na začetku kariere 2.1« the University of Maribor (UM) is looking for holders of doctorate degrees from all fields of expertise who have completed their doctorate studies in the period from January 1st 2011 to October 5th 2018 and were not employed by the University of Maribor on the July 13th 2018.
At the UM we offer full time employment contract for conducting independent research. Candidate will act as a bridging link between respected UM research group and participating company from April 1st 2019 to March 31st 2022, presumably at the workplace H01900 - ASSISTANT WITH DOCTORATE IX (M / F). Employment will be carried out only in the event that project proposals is selected.
The proposals will be prepared on the basis of the professional interest of the candidate, in accordance with the identified focus areas of the Slovenian Smart Specialisation Strategy (S4) (the areas are further explained in the attached table) and the research strategy of the respected UM research group and participating company. Eligible research fields are in the span from technology, medicine, humanities, social sciences, economics, science, law, pedagogical sciences, logistics, tourism, agro-food to art.
Proposals may be submitted by all UM faculty members (17) and their research groups until October 5th 2018, 12.00.
