Social Erasmus

Dear Erasmus students,

Your exchange in another country has already begun, which means you are meeting new people from different countries and getting to know their unique culture.
We would like to give you an opportunity to know more about Slovenian culture through lectures, workshops and real experiences by visiting schools, kindergartens, retirement homes, hospitals etc. This project is called SOCIAL ERASMUS and it consist of:

1. Lectures on 4 different topics (All the lectures will be obligatory since they are important for your further activities in the project!):

a) Public speaking (3 hours, March 2019): how to practice and prepare for public presentation, what are the most important things to focus on when speaking publicly in front of a group of people.

b) Intercultural communication (4 hours, March 2019): communication barriers are not only language based, so what are verbal and non verbal interactions between people, especiall when they are from different cultural background and how do we interpret them.

c) Slovene culture (4 hoursApril 2019): basics on Slovene society, tradition, history,…

d) Teamwork (4 hoursApril 2019): why is this a crucial skill for you, what is group dynamic, why do you need to know how to collaborate/work well together in different circumstances.
