Concluding thoughts:
Prof. dr.
Jože Gričar, Professor Emeritus, University of Maribor
Inventory of current
research and researchers in this field within the framework of the University
of Maribor. Establish links with the Vice-rectors of the
universities in the neighbouring countries who are interested in the field. Invite to the cooperation the executives of the
companies, heads of non-governmental organizations and the municipalities'
mayors in the region interested in the topic. Propose the date of the next workshop in fall 2019
so that potential stakeholders can reserve time.
Prof. dr. Zoran REN, VICE-RECTOR for Science and Research, University of MariborFor the university it is important to provide conditions for close cooperation between generations and assure efficient transfer of experience and good practices. Not only for current university employees but also for retirees, which can still contribute a lot to university progress at all levels of its operation. The University of Maribor is dedicated to provide such conditions not only in its strategic documents but also in daily life with particular attention to small details that matter.
