On June 10 and 11, 2021, the 16th IRDO International Science and Business Conference on Social Responsibility and Current Challenges 2020 will take place in Maribor. Authors should submit their proposals for abstracts to the organizers by November 10, 2020.
IRDO - Institute for the Development of Social Responsibility, in cooperation with the University of Maribor, Slovenia, Europe, and numerous supporting partners, has published an invitation on its website for authors to submit scientific, professional and business contributions on the topic of Pitfalls and opportunities of digitalisation for sustainable future. The 16th IRDO International Science and Business Conference will be held on June 10-11, 2021 at the premises of the University of Maribor and online.
»The main theme of the conference for next year is digitalisation. We would like authors to shed light in their contributions from several stakeholder perspectives related to the digitalisation. These perspectives are: Individuals, Organizations, Environment, Society (local and international), Economy and Business. We invite scientists, experts, businessmen, as well as young people and other individuals to participate as authors of articles," said Matjaž Mulej, PhD., PhD., Professor Emeritus, President of the Conference Program Committee, in his address to the authors about the conference. He adds: “We have announced the following proposed topics for the 2021 conference: Systemic aspects of digitalisation, International directions for the digitalized future, Cyber-security, Digitalisation in activity domains, Personal aspects of digitalisation, Other topics (may be related to digitalisation). Round tables and a meeting of the Slovenian Society for Systems Research will be held as part of the accompanying program of the conference. Therefore, we invite everyone to join us in finding solutions for a sustainable future.«
The organizers invite scientists, managers, experts in various fields, department heads, teachers at universities and other educational organizations, researchers, business leaders, governmental and non-governmental organizations, students, youth workers, youth organizations, opinion makers and others to submit their abstracts by 10th November 2020.
So far, 50 to 150 participants have attended the conference each year, and it represents a significant contribution by various authors to science and the profession. Proceedings of the 15 conferences held so far are available to the public free of charge on the IRDO website, and students, teachers and other researchers, professionals and managers draw on the resources for their work.
