The Computer Centre of the University of Maribor (RCUM) provides efficient solutions for a high-quality educational and business process. Solutions are classified into four groups – students, teaching staff, administrative staff and ICT coordinators at faculties. RCUM provides students and teachers with technical support for the teaching and learning process. The Centre allocates e-mail addresses, provides access to Eduroam services (Wireless Educational Network), enables the purchase of licensed software, etc. One of the most important services is the development and maintenance of information systems for successful operations of administrative and other services of the University and its members (support for administrative functions of faculties – accounting departments, student affairs offices, dean's offices, etc.).

One of the institutions at the University of Maribor is the University sports centre, which was opened on 2nd June in 1995. On 24th February 2000 the University sports centre was named after our Olympic champion, Mr. Leon Štukelj, who lent his support throughout its construction and officially opened the building. The University sport centre Leon Štukelj has several sport halls for indoor sport activities. They are primarily used by the students who have mandatory physical education classes and also to the recreational sport activities organised by the student union of the university. The following sports can be exercised in the building: basketball, handball, volleyball, indoor soccer, badminton, squash, table tennis, climbing, martial arts, aerobics, dance and fitness.
