In the second or additional application period for filling the remaining vacancies, candidates may enrol in master’s (second-cycle) and doctoral (third-cycle) study programmes offered by faculties of the University of Maribor. Detailed information on enrolment in master’s and doctoral study programmes can be found at https://www.um.si/studij/podiplomski-studij/Strani/2--stopnja.aspxand https://www.um.si/studij/podiplomski-studij/Strani/3--stopnja.aspx, respectively.

In the second or additional application period for filling the remaining vacancies, the following candidates may submit an application: those who did not apply in the first application period; those who were not admitted to the selected faculty in the first application period; and those who applied for a postgraduate programme that will not be implemented. Candidates having applied in the first application period for a study programme whose implementation is not yet guaranteed may also apply in the second or additional application period for filling the remaining vacancies.

Irrespective of the first application, candidates who wish to enrol in part-time study programmes may also submit an application in the second or additional application period for filling the remaining vacancies.

In the second or additional application period for filling the remaining vacancies, Slovenians without Slovenian citizenship and foreign nationals – citizens of non-EU Member States may also apply, however, as per priority order, the remaining vacancies shall be first filled by Slovene citizens and EU nationals, only then by Slovenians without Slovenian citizenship and foreign nationals – citizens of non-EU Member States.

Candidates shall submit their application for enrolment in postgraduate programmes of the University of Maribor that are reoffered in this application period via the eVŠ internet portal available at https://portal.evs.gov.si/prijava/?lang=en.

In the second or additional application period for filling the remaining vacancies, candidates apply in the same manner as in the first application period, however, each candidate may submit a maximum of one application – each entry in eVŠ shall be considered one application (irrespective of the study option, mode of study, etc.). If a candidate tries to submit a second application (or more), an automatic warning appears and the application is not submitted. Until the expiration of the deadline, candidates may alter or delete their applications as desired. Candidates shall receive an email confirmation for each alteration made (to the email address indicated in the application form).

Candidates may submit the application in three ways – with a qualified digital certificate, with their username and password, or with an account of the Authentication and Authorization Infrastructure (Arnes AAI account).

  • Candidates applying with a qualified digital certificate are not required to send the printed form by regular mail. Applications are considered to be submitted on time, if completed, electronically signed and submitted in eVŠ by means of a qualified digital certificate by 22 September 2020 at noon CET.
